India's Rohan Bopanna and his Canadian partner Daniel Nestor advanced to second round of the men's doubles at the Australian Open in Melbourne today. Seventh seeded Bopanna and Nestor beat Cyprus' Marcos Baghdatis and Australia's Marinko Matosevic 7-6, 7-5.However, Mahesh Bhupathi and his Austrian partner Jurgen Melzer crashed out of the event after losing their opening encounter. The duo lost to Argentine duo Diego Schwartzman and Horacio Zeballos 4-6, 3-6.
