Australian Open: Bhupathi, Nestor enter third round

It was a mixed morning today for the Indians in the men's doubles at the Australian Open. Mahesh Bhupathi and his Serbian-born Canadian partner Daniel Nestor cruised into third round, while Rohan Bopanna and his American partner of Indian origin Rajeev Ram were surprisingly beaten.Bhupathi and Nestor beat Romanian Victor Hanescu and Slovak Martin Klizan 6-1, 7-6 while Bopanna and Ram lost to Italians Simone Bolelli and Fabio Fagnini with 2-6, 6-7. Bhupathi and Nestor will now play Bolelli and Fagnini. In the Mixed Doubles pre-quarter final, Rohan Bopanna and his partner from Chinese Taipei Su-Wei Hsieh defeated the American-Aussie combination of Jack Sock and Ashleigh Barty 6-3 6-3.
