The Australian Navy has stopped a boat carrying 53 asylum seekers near Flying Fish cove on Christmas Island. <br/><br/>Home Affairs Minister Brendan O'Connor said the group will have health and identity checks on the Island. He said if they are Sri Lankan or Afghan their asylum seeker claims will not be processed until the Government lifts the processing suspension that applies to people from those two countries.<br/>
