Australia have won the toss and elected to bat against Zimbabwe in their opening Group A match of ICC Cricket World Cup at the Sardar Patel Stadium in Amedabad. Co-hosts Sri Lanka beat Canada by 210 runs in their opening match of Group A in the ICC Cricket World Cup yesterday at Hambantota in Sri Lanka. Winning the toss, Sri Lanka chose to bat and amassed a huge 332 for seven. Chasing the winning target of 333, minnows Canada were all out for just 122 runs, with 13.1 overs to spare. Earlier, New Zealand crushed Kenya by 10 wickets in Group A fixture in Chennai yesterday. It was the second fastest win in the history of the tournament. After bowling out Kenya for 69 runs, the Kiwis took just 49 balls to overhaul the target.
