Australia thrash India by 5 wickets in 1st ODI at Perth<br/>

Australia has beaten India by 5 wickets in the first ODI at Perth, WACA. The hosts chased down a target of 310 in 49.2 overs. Skipper Steve Smith made 149 and George Bailey 112, being the main architect for the chase.For India, debutant Barinder Sran took 3 wickets, and R Ashwin took two. Earlier, after winning the toss India posted 309 for 3, propelled by Rohit Sharma&apos;s 171 not out. Rohit faced 163 balls and hit 13 boundaries and seven sixes. Rohit along with Virat Kohli steadied the innings as they helped in posting India&apos;s highest score against Australia in Australia. Kohli missed out on a century as he was out for 91. In the five matches ODI series, hosts now lead it 1-Nil.
