Australia sets England 279 to win tri-series final

Chasing a victory target of 279, England were 65 for 4 in 17 overs against Australia in the final of the tri-nation ODI series at Perth, when reports last came in. Paceman Mitchell Johnson, who has made a comeback in the Australian squad, has bagged 3 of the 4 wickets. Joe Root and Ravi Bopara are at the crease.Earlier, sent in to bat, the hosts' top order fell cheaply and at one stage, the hosts were 60 for 4. It was the 141-run fifth wicket stand between Glenn Maxwell and Mitchell Marsh that rescued the home side. Maxwell fell short of his maiden ton by just 5 runs, while Marsh made 60. The end-of-innings cameo from James Faulkner helped Australia cross the 270-mark. He made 50 off 34 balls comprising 4 fours and 4 sixes. Pacer Stuart Broad bagged the maximum of 3 wickets.
