Australia set 305- run target for India

India were 92 for 2 in 21 overs in reply to a target of 305 runs set by Australia in the first one day International being played at Pune on Sunday, when reports last came in. Earlier, Australia won the toss and elected to bat scoring 304 runs at the loss of 8 wickets. The highlights of their innings were an attractive batting by captain George Baily and Aaron Finch. Baily scored 85 runs of 82 balls. Finch scored 72 runs in 79 balls. He fetched three sixes and 8 boundries. For India Yuvarajsing and Ravichandran Ashwin bagged two wickets each. The teams are competing in a seven-match series and Australia will have to beat India 6-1 to regain the number one spot in the ICC rankings.
