Australia close to second defeat in final test against Pakistan

Australia is on the brink of a successive second defeat in the second and final cricket test against Pakistan. Chasing a mammoth victory target of 603 runs, the visitors will resume their final innings today in Abu Dhabi from the score of 143 runs for the loss of four wickets. The top half led by Rogers, Warner, Maxwell and Clarke are back in the pavilion. Smith is batting on 38 while Mitchell Marsh is not out on 26. Pakistan declared their second innings closed at 293 runs for the loss of three wickets, powered by a cracking century form the skipper Misbah ul Haq who shares now the world record for the fastest test century with the great Viv Richards. Misbah made 101 runs off just 57 deliveries. Azhar Ali remained not out on 100. Scores at the draw of stumps on the fourth day – Pakistan – 570 for 6 declared and 293 for three declared.
