Australia beat West Indies by 114 runs; win Sixth World Cup Title

Australia are the new Women's World Cup Champions. The Aussies won their Sixth World Cup Title on Sunday defeating West Indies by 114 runs in the final in Mumbai. Chasing a target 260 runs set by Australia West Indies the Caribbean eves were all out for 145 in the 44th over. Earlier, Australia won the toss and elected to bat first. They scored 259 runs for the loss 7 wickets in the stipulated 50 overs. Jess Cameron was the highest scorer with 75 runs while Rachel Haynes scored 52 runs for the five-time champions.
