Earlier in first match England defeated South Africa 6-4 while Pakistan beat spain in the second match.Australians scored through Glenn Turner, Liam De Young, Desmond Abbott, and Luke Doerner while, India through Vikram Pillay and captain Rajpal Singh.With this victory, Australia has not only earned three full points but also the Ajit Pal-Ric Charlesworth Trophy as the match was designated as a friendship match between the two countries.
