Australia A defeated South Africa A by 108 runs in a Tri series match in Chennai today. Batting first after winning the toss at the M A Chidambaram Stadium, Australia A were all out for 272 in 47.2 overs. Skipper Matthew Wade smashed 130 off barely 106 balls. In reply, the South African A team was bowled out for 164 in only 37.1 overs. The Aussies had already booked their place in the final slated for Friday. They have won all their four games so far. In the last league match tomorrow, the Unmukt Chand-led India A will take on South Africa A. Having played three games with just one win and two losses, India A are eyeing a spot in the tri-series final. Second on the points table, India A have a better chance of making it to the final than the Dean Elgar-led South Africa A team, who are struggling with form and fitness.
