<span style="color: #222222;">In Jammu  and  Kashmir, Deputy Commissioner Anantnag Kuldeep Krishan Sidha chaired a meeting of all Imams, khateebs and Auqaf Presidents of the district on COVID-19 containment at Dak Bungalow Khanabal today. While addressing the meeting, Sidha said that the number of COVID -19 cases is rising at an alarming rate in the district and accordingly immense precautions need to be taken by the public at large.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He reiterated on the necessity of using face masks, sanitizers and maintaining proper social distancing norms and other health measures to contain the spread of covid-19 infection. He also deliberated on the issues regarding the concealing of travel history, social stigma, violation of lockdown and importance of adherence to health guidelines.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He urged Imams and Auqaf members to generate massive awareness among the masses for strict adherence to the advisories of the administration in letter and spirit. He directed that all Block Level Officers in the district visit 25 houses each day for generating awareness among the masses about the pandemic and its necessary precautions. The Auqaf Presidents, Imams and Khateebs ensured their full support to the district administration for this noble cause.</span><br />''
