State Counsellor of Myanmar Aung San Suu Kyi who is on a three day visit to India was accorded a ceremonial reception at Rashtrapati Bhavan today. Prime Minister Narendra Modi received her at the Rashtrapati Bhavan forecourt after which she inspected the guard of honour. <br/><br/>Later talking to media, She said it gave her great pleasure to be back in India. Ms Suu Kyi said, every time she comes back she realise how India and Myanmar are close to each other. The State Counsellor said, she looks forward to better the relationship and believes that the friendship will stand the test of time and circumstances.<br/><br/>External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj called on Ms Suu Kyi today. The Myanmar leader called on President Pranab Mukherjee this afternoon. Ms Suu Kyi also scheduled to attend a business event in the evening during which she will interact with leading Indian business leaders and discuss ways to improve commerce and trade between the two neighbours.
