The government today said that attempts of infiltration into Jammu and Kashmir have come down in February and March but had increased in January this year as compared to the corresponding periods last year. In a written reply in the Rajya Sabha, the Minister of State for Home Affairs, Mr. Ajay Maken assured the house that the security forces are equipped with modern and sophisticated weapons and equipment to meet the challenges of the infiltration.<br/>
