Congress today alleged that the attack on its vice president Rahul Gandhi in Gujarat yesterday was pre planned.<br/><br/>Briefing media senior party leader Ghulam Nabi Azad said it was the responsibility of the state government to ensure the safety and security of Mr Gandhi.<br/><br/>Condemning the incident, Mr Azad said such attacks should not take place in a civilized society. <br/><br/>Rahul Gandhi's car was pelted with stones during his visit to the flood-affected Dhanera in Gujarat but he escaped unhurt. <br/><br/>Meanwhile, Mr Gandhi has also reacted to the attack on him and alleged it is part of the BJP and RSS politics. <br/><br/>
