‘Attack on PM’s office against the interest of the nation’

Minister of state for Parliamentary Affairs Harish Rawat today said the country will not tolerate the attack on institutions.

Talking to media persons in New Delhi, Mr Rawat said every body has the right to raise his or her voice and the government is not interfering in it. But, he alleged that Anna Hazare and Baba Ramdev wanted to ruin the established institutions in the name of fight against corruption.

He said that post of the Prime Minister is also an institutional one and any attack on it, is against the interest of the nation.

Anna Hazare and yoga guru Ramdev began their day-long fast against corruption in New Delhi today. This is their first joint appearance on a public platform in the past one year. They are also demanding bringing back black money stashed abroad.
