Attack on BJP leader Waseem Bari was pre-planned by LeT: IGP Kashmir

<span style="color: #222222;">In Jammu and Kashmir, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir Vijay Kumar has said that the attack on BJP leader Waseem Bari in Bandipora was pre-planned by terror group Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT).<br />'' <br />'' In the terrorist attack, Sheikh Wasim Bari, his father Bashir Ahmed and brother Umar Bashir were killed on Wednesday.<br />'' <br />'' Three more policemen were arrested in connection with the attack, taking the total number of the police personnel arrested in the case to 10. Talking to reporters, Mr Kumar said that while there was no shortcoming in providing security to the slain BJP leader, it was a lapse on the part of the ten Protective Service Officers and they have been arrested and were being dismissed from service.<br />'' <br />'' The IGP said that the police have checked the CCTV cameras and it seems that it was a pre-planned attack.<br />'' <br />'' The IGP said the police have identified the terrorists behind the killings.<br />'' <br />'' He said that a Pakistani terrorist and a local terrorist Abid were involved in the attack and security forces are now tracking them. He said, the police, the Army and CRPF will soon nab the culprits.</span><br />
