ATS takes over investigation into Mumbai blasts

Anti Terrorist Squad, ATS Chief of Maharashtra State Rakesh Maria said that ATS has taken over the investigations of serial bomb blasts in Mumbai and work in coordination with the crime branch. Rakesh Maria said in a press conference in Mumbai on Thursday evening that the investigation into the bomb blasts will be carried out by a dozen teams and all the angles lead to the explosion will be taken into consideration.The ATS Chief said that ammonium nitrate has been used to trigger bombs and further investigations are on to trace the substances used for making these bombs. Mr. Maria affirmed that only scientific and forensic evidence will help to come to a conclusion about the nature of explosion. The CCTV footage from all the blast sites was found. Mr. Maria assured that all efforts will be made to bring the perpetrators of the crime to justice.
