Ariz Hasnain is a resident of Rahmat Nagar in Godda district of Jharkhand. He was arrested from Godda.<br />''<br />''Jharkhand Police spokesperson AV Homkar has said that ATS had received secret information that Mohd. Ariz, is an active member of the ISIS terrorist organization living in Godda. Apart from being active in the organization, he is promoting the organization through social media and other mediums. Ariz was brought to Ranchi and interrogated thoroughly, in which he told about his connection with the terrorist organization ISIS and other banned terrorist organizations.<br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">A suspicious chat was found in the Telegram feature in his mobile, about which, when asked, he revealed the name of another of his associates, Mohd Naseem of Hazaribagh. He told that he is also associated with the terrorist organization ISIS. It was through Naseem that the books "Jihad" and Kuf Beeth Tagoot were sent to him. Both books give the perspective of Jihad and ISIS.</span><br />
