BSP Chief Mayawati today alleged that the incidents of atrocities on dalits and crime against women are on the rise ever since BJP came into power at the Centre and different states. Referring to such incidents reported in Haryana, she said, on the one hand the BJP talks about Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, on the other, the women are feeling unsafe in its rule. Talking to reporters outside Parliament, Ms. Mayawati also questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi's silence over the Una Dalit atrocities incident in Gujarat.
