ATP World Tour: Paes, Stepanek qualifies for Men's Doubles semifinals

India's Leander Paes and his Czech partner Radek Stepanek have qualified for the Men's Doubles semifinals of the ATP World Tour in London. Third seeds Paes and Stepanek defeated Spanish duo of Marcel Granollers and Marc Lopez 7-5,6-4 in their final Group-A league match.Last night, the Indian duo of Mahesh Bhupathi and Rohan Bopanna won its must win Group-B match, keeping the hopes of a semi-final berth alive. The fifth seeded Indian pair defeated the Swedish-Romanian combination of Robert Lindstedt and Horia Tecau, 6-3, 5-7, 10-5. Bhupathi and Bopanna had lost their opening Group match and will now have to win their next and final league match to make it to the semis. They will take on the second seeded Belarusian-Canadian pair of Max Mirnyi and Daniel Nestor.
