From tiffin carriers, water bottles to other useful products, usage of bamboo is being promoted in various products. In its effort to promote indigenous bamboo industry, the government had hiked Customs duty on bamboo imports by agarbatti manufacturers from 10 per cent to 25 per cent in June this year.<br />
