Atma Nirbhar Bharat: Kagaz Scanner App designed by IIT alumni to scan documents

<span style="color: #444444;">In our series on AtmaNirbhar Bharat today, we bring you a special story on Kagaz Scanner App. The app developed by three alumni of Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, is a document scanning app which was launched on 15th of June this year. The app supports English as well as Hindi language. The major feature of the app is, it can work completely offline. </span><br />” <br />” <span style="color: #444444;">There are no ads or watermarks on the app. The app is completely free of cost and does not require any sign in. Talking exclusively to All India Radio News, Gaurav Shrishrimal one of the founder informed the app has so far 12 lakh downloads and in future they plan to target international market as well.</span><br />” <span style="color: #333333;">&nbsp;<br />”</span><span style="color: #444444;">Kaagaz Scanner received special mention in the Atmanirbhar App Innovation Contest. It got recognition in 'Mann Ki Baat' Updates. Was also recognized by the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology.</span><br />” <br />” The developers are also working on a smart reminders product named Sorted AI . The app will automatically remind its users of the renewal dates and bill payments of the documents uploaded on it like, the insurance renewal and credit card payments.
