In Andhra Pradesh, at least seven persons feared dead and several others injured when multiple blasts took place in Hyderabad this evening.

The incident took place around 7 pm at different places in busy Dilshuknagar area of Hyderabad. The police are yet to ascertain the reason behind the blasts.

Rescue operations are underway in full swing while the police have cordoned off immediately after they reach the incident site.

Unconfirmed reports say that one blast took place near a cinema theatre in the busy Dilshuknaga area while another took place near a bus stand in the same area.

Meanwhile, red alert has been sounded in the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad.

Additional forces have been moved to all important places in the city.
