<span style="color: #222222;">Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Ramdas Athawale said the Republican Party of India would move the Supreme Court against a Bombay High Court’s ruling which asks to refrain from using the word ‘Dalit’ officially and in the media.&nbsp;<br />”<br />”The RPI chief said that this word is associated with many organizations such as Dalit Panthers and as a former member of this organization he does not find the use of this word derogatory.<br />”<br />”He also added that it is his Ministry’s responsibility that Scheduled Castes and Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 is not misused.
