<span style="color: #222222;">Atal Innovation Mission today launched a Call for Applications for its two leading programmes – Atal Incubation Centre and Atal Community Innovation Centre. NITI Aayog said in a release that the call for applications is a step to expand the current ecosystem of incubators and provide them with access to global benchmarks and best practices. Both the programmes envision creating and supporting the innovation ecosystem in the country by establishing world-class institutions which shall help budding entrepreneurs of the country.<br />''<br />''Atal Incubation Centre is an initiative of the Atal Innovation Mission to foster innovation and entrepreneurial spirit while creating a supportive ecosystem for start-ups and entrepreneurs in India. Each AIC is supported with a grant of up to 10 crore rupees over a period of five years. Since 2016, Atal Innovation Mission has established 68 Atal Incubation Centres across 18 States and three Union Territories which have supported more than 2,700 start-ups.</span><br />
