In Tamil Nadu, at least ten people, including the driver of a State Transport Corporation bus were charred to death when the bus in which they were traveling collided with a truck and caught fire early today. The mishap took place at Pudhumallavaidi on the Vellur-Cuddalore Highway near Polur in Tiruvannamalai district. Police said the bus collided with rice laden truck. In the impact, both the vehicles caught fire. Twenty nine injured passengers have been admitted to Government Hospital in Tiruvannamalai.
