In Uttar Pradesh, at least seven passengers including four women were killed and 50 others injured some of them seriously, when a roadways bus overturned and fell into a ditch under Deoband area in Saharanpur district. Quoting police sources, AIR Lucknow correspondent reports that this accident happened when driver of a Muzaffarnagar bound bus lost its control in a bid to save another vehicle coming from opposite direction. The injured have been rushed to different hospitals at Saharanpur and Muzaffarnagar districts.
