In Iraq, at least one civilian was killed and 12 others injured on Sunday in a coordinated cart bomb and hand grenades attacks in the city of Mosul. Police said the attack took place in the afternoon when a booby-trapped cart used for selling goods detonated in a marketplace in Bab al- Toub district in central Mosul. The blast was followed by bomb explosions when unidentified gunmen threw hand grenades at the market. The toll could rise as ambulances and civilian vehicles were evacuating the casualties to the city hospitals.Iraqi security forces sealed off the scene and launched search operation in the area looking for the attackers who fled the scene.
