In Uttar Pradesh, at least four pilgrims including two women were crushed to death and several others injured in a road accident in Mathura district. A police spokesperson told AIR Allahabad correspondent that the accident happened in wee hours under Maat police area, when a speeding truck crushed the pilgrims from Rajasthan and Haryana. Two killed on the spot while two others succumbed to their injuries at district hospital Mathura. Injured have been admitted to the district hospital. As per reports available speeding truck was occupied by the miscreants allegedly involved in cattle`s theft but the police are tracing the truck and the driver.
