At least four killed in Iraq attacks

In Iraq, at least four people have been killed and eight others injured in bomb and gun attacks in the capital, Baghdad, and in the west. Police said a car bomb exploded today in Anbar province, west of Baghdad, killing two people and injuring four others. In the western city of Haditha, a suicide bomber attacked a government building, injuring one police officer. An interior ministry official said a roadside bomb killed one police officer and injured two others in Baghdad's Mansour neighborhood. A suicide bomber in the city's Bab al-Muadham district injured one person. Authorities also said gunmen shot dead a Kurdish politician in the northern province of Diyala.
