In Assam, at least 7 people killed and another 40 injured in a road accident at Rangjuli in Goalpara district this morning. According to official sources, the head-on collision occurred between a passenger bus and a truck on 37 National Highway under Rangjuli Police Station. The ill fated bus was heading towards Guwahati from Goalpara when the accident occurred. The injured passengers were rushed to Goalpara Civil Hospital and Dudhnoi FRU. Later, at least 10 seriously injured passengers were referred to the Guwahati Medical College and Hospital.
