At least 40 kids of a Government Secondary School, Amritsar went unconscious after they consumed the iron tablets distributed among them by the officials of the Health Department.<br/><br/>As soon as the kids consumed the tablets, many of them started vomiting and 15 kids whose condition deteriorated were admitted to the local civil hospital.<br/><br/>Reacting to this, the family and the other residents of the Gate Hakima Area launched a massive protest dharna and criticized both health and education department officials for the mishap.
