In Burundi, at least 36 people have been killed after unknown gunmen opened fire at a crowded bar near the capital, Bujumbura. A survivor who lost two siblings and a friend said dozens of people, some in military uniform and with Kalashnikov rifles and grenades entered 'Chez les Amis' bar on Sunday night. They told everyone to lie down and began shooting.A doctor in a local hospital said the hospital was totally overwhelmed by the number of wounded. Reports said dead bodies had been left in a car park at one hospital. President Pierre Nkurunziza visited the scene and vowed to bring those responsible to justice. He said he was canceling this week's trip to New York, for the UN General Assembly.
