In Bihar, at least 35 persons were killed following a country boat capsized in the swollen Tilyuga River, a tributary of Kosi in Supaul district of the state last night. AIR Patna Correspondent reports that most of deceased are children. The incident occurred at Barmottar Ghat under Marauna police station of the district. District magistrate Kumar Ravi said the overcrowded ill fated boat carrying about 80 persons were on way to attend a ceremony in the late evening. Efforts are on to fish out the missing bodies.Chief Minister Nitish kumar has announced an ex gratia of Rupees one lakh Fity thousand each of the next of the kin of the deceased.
