At least 27 killed in Iraq double bomb attack

In Iraq, at least 27 people were killed and 40 others injured in a double bomb attack in the city of Taji, north of Baghdad today. According to National Iraqi news agency, a car bomb and an improvised bomb exploded simultaneously. The blast took place outside a government office where national identification cards are issued. Authorities said the attack began with a car bomb followed by a roadside bomb. The casualties include police officers.
