In Uttar Pradesh, at least 15 people have been killed and over 30 injured in a train truck collision in Gonda district Sunday afternoon. The accident occurred in between Mankapur and the Ayodhya railway stations of North Eastern Railway. Senior railway officers have reached the spot for relief operations. <br/>AIR correspondent reports that the ill fated truck hit the rear part of the rail engine of the Ayodhya bound overcrowded passenger train at an unmanned crossing and the persons traveling on foot steps and in the spaces between the coaches became victims of this accident. The driver and cleaner of the truck also succumbed to injuries. <br/>The Railways has announced the ex gratia of Rupees 5 lakh to the next kith and kin of those killed in the accident. Rupees one lakh will be paid to those who are seriously injured and Rs 10,000 to passengers with minor injuries.<br/>
