In the Philippines, at least 15 people were killed and 48 others injured in a road accident in the central island of Cebu. Police said the mishap occured when the driver of a bus smashed into a concrete wall in a bid to avoid hitting bystanders. <br/><br/>It was carrying factory workers to their homes when its brakes failed and went out of control. The injured have been admitted to a local hospital. The bus was travelling at a high speed when the mishap occured.<br/>
