<br/>The Mumbai police registered a case of negligence against unidentified persons from the Mumbai port Trust in connection with the gas leak from cylinders on port Trust premises. Mumbai police is investigating the person responsible for keeping cylinders there.<br/><br/>Meanwhile the shipping ministry has issued directives for the site to be surveyed. It has also asked the Mumbai port Trust to conduct an inquiry.<br/><br/>More than a 100 cylinders were lying on the Mumbai port Trust land since 2001. Port authorities say that they could not dispose off them without clearance from customs and controller of explosive.
