At least 10 people have been killed in rain-related incidents in Mumbai after heavy torrential rain on Tuesday battered the metropolis and its satellite towns. <br/><br/>While nine people were washed away in Mumbai and two adjoining districts, one lost his life in a wall-collapse in Ghatkopar. <br/><br/>The city is now limping back to normal as it did not witness much rain yesterday. <br/><br/>Water level in most parts of the city has now subsided and rail and road traffic are slowly getting back to normal. <br/><br/>Suburban trains on all three lines were running with speed restriction at water logging prone, Sion, Parel and Matunga Road stations. Services of long distance trains have also resumed now.<br/><br/>Around 450 personnel of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) have been mobilised for deployment in the city. <br/><br/>A Home Ministry statement said, three NDRF teams, already pre-positioned in Mumbai, were immediately supplemented by sending more teams.<br/><br/>The MeT Department has predicted more rain in Mumbai and its suburbs today.

Educational establishments and government offices remained closed yesterday following a directive by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. <br/><br/>Suburban trains on all three lines were running with speed restriction at water logging prone, Sion, Parel and Matunga Rd stations.
