In China, a passenger train has derailed in a mountainous area of Jiangxi province, killing at least 10 people and dozen other injured. Xinhua news agency reported that the train which was heading from Shanghai for the tourist city of Guilin in southern China, knocked off the tracks by a landslide early this morning in Dongxiang county of Jiangxi province. The Ministry of Railways said another 53 people who were trapped in the wreckage were pulled to safety after the accident.
