India's multi-wavelength space based observatory ASTROSAT has completed more than 100 days in orbit. It was launched in September last year and has experiments covering the UV and X-ray wavebands to conduct observations in the area of astronomy.

A release posted in the the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) website said the Performance Verification (PV) phase of ASTROSAT was now half way through.
