<span style="color: #222222;">In Assam, State Government undertaking, Assam State Transport Corporation, ASTC buses have started journey this afternoon carrying thousands of stranded people. Assam Government took the decision to allow inter-district movement over the next three days from today to help stranded people to return home or visit hospitals while strictly adhering to lockdown norms.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Transport Department has prepared elaborate plan to send home thousands of stranded people in three days. If required, the bus journey will be extended for another couple of days. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Official sources said that  over 50 thousand people have applied  for travel  passes within the state. However, no passengers from COVID-19 hotspot areas have been allowed to avail journey. Transport Departments have made four boarding points in Guwahati while in other districts ASTC stations have been designated as boarding point.</span><br />''  <br />
