Delhi government has suspended an Assistant Commissioner of Excise Department over corruption charges. Vigillance Secretary, Sukesh Kumar Jain informed the action was taken following a complaints. He said, during the search, cash amounting to fifty thousand rupees and a liquor bottle was found in the vehicle of the accused. Mr Jain also said the matter is being referred to the Anti-Corruption Branch for initiating criminal action against the suspended official.
