Counting of votes for Assembly elections in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh has begun.In Gujarat, the first trends indicate that BJP and the Congress are leading in two constituencies each.
Counting of votes is being held at 33 centres for all the 182 assembly seats. Postal ballots are being counted in the State.Most of the results are expected by this afternoon.In Himachal Pradesh, counting of votes is taking place at 39 centres for all the 68 assembly seats. Nearly 4,000 security personnel have been deployed to ensure smooth counting of votes.News Services Division will broadcast a special live Radio Bridge programme from 9.30 PM to 10.30 PM tonight on the verdict of the Assembly Elections 2012.
