Assembly poll trends:Left front leading in Tripura,NPF in Nagaland

The initial trends in the three North East states of Tripura, Meghalaya and Nagaland have started coming in.
In Tripura, the latest trends in the counting of votes for the 60 member assembly indicate that the ruling Left Front is leading in 19 constituencies and Congress in two.
In Meghalaya, Congress is leading in 3 constituencies, United Democratic Party in two, while Hill State Peoples Democractic party leading in one constituency.
Latest trend in Nagaland shows that the Naga Peoples Front is leading in 11 constituencies while the Janta Dal (United) is leading in 1 constituency..
In West Bengal, counting of votes for Assembly bye-elections in Nalhati, Englishbazar and Rejinagar seats has also begun at 8 this morning. Counting of votes has also been taken up for Moga assembly constituency in Punjab, Chalphil in Mizoram and Bhatparani assembly segments in Uttar Pradesh. All the byelection results are expected by this afternoon.
