The Election Commission has announced schedule for the assembly elections in Delhi, Rajasthan, Mizoram, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh. Assembly election in Madhya Pradesh to be held in a single phase on November 25 while election in Chhattisgarh to be held in two phases. First phase on November 11 and second phase on November 19. Elections in Rajasthan will be held on December one while in Delhi and Mizoram the polls will be on 4th December. Counting of votes in all states will take place on 8th December.

Anouncing the poll dates in the five states Chief Election Commission V. S. Sampath said the Commission is also taking necessary steps to make available the none of the above option for the voters. The Election commission also announced that with the announcement of the poll dates, the model code of conduct has come into force with immediate effect.
