Soon after Congress's debacle in assembly elections, party General Secretary Digvijay Singh has pressed for major revamp in the organization. In a tweet, Mr. Singh said the poll results are disappointing but not unexpected. He said, the party has done enough introspection and should go for a major surgery. <br/><br/>His tweet came after party president Sonia Gandhi's statement promising introspection into the reasons for the loss. Congress has lost Assam to BJP and Kerala to Left parties. Party's alliances in Tamil Nadu and West Bengal also fared badly.
