Poll candidates will now have to get approval of concerned officials before uploading content on social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter or WhatsApp. <br/><br/>Media Certification and Monitoring Committee cell in charge of Mathura, Ravindra Kumar has said, they have already been doing this for print and electronic media. Kumar said, poll candidates will have to inform how many messages have been sent and the method used to check these messages. <br/><br/>He said, those not following these rules will be considered to be violating the Model Code of Conduct and will be punished as per the law.
