Government says that senior Diplomat Anil Verma has been recalled following reports that he assaulted his wife in London. The spokesman of the External Affairs Ministry Vishu Prakash told reporters in New Delhi that the London High Commission is trying to sort out the marital discord between Anil Verma and his wife. The spokesman asserted the Ministry has taken the issue very seriously and will deal firmly with anybody involved in domestic violence.
